Terms & Condition of Sales and RMA

Costs: Prices are subject to change without notice. Clerical errors are not binding and may be corrected by DCD Security at any time after discovery.

Payment: Delinquent accounts will be subject to a 30% APR finance charge (0.083% per day) plus collection ang legal costs if incurred. A $35.00 fee will be applied to all returned checks.

Delivery: Unless otherwise noted, delivery will be made F.O.B. DCD Security (continuing on these terms and conditions of sales as DCD Security) to be paid by purchaser. Risk of loss passes to purchaser upon delivery by DCD Security to common carrier. Items ordered together are not necessarliy shipped together due to availablilty. We will confirm first before shipment to backorders or substitutes ae acceptable. Drop ship order will be charged a $5.00 handling fee.

Service & Support: If you have any problems with a product you have purchased from DCD Security, please contact us before deciding to return the product(s). If no solution is reached, a RMA number will be issued. In the event that you receive damages during shipment, please contact us within 5 days of receipt of order to receive an RMA number.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Policy:

  1. Please consult with us prior to requesting a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
  2. Please fill out an RMA Form and email back to rma@dcdsecuirty.com. We will reply to you by email or phone call for your RMA number.
  3. No return merchandise will be accepted without a valid RMA number.
  4. RMA number is valid for 10 business days from the issued date.
  5. All merchandise must be returned within fifteen (15) days from the date of invoice. After fifteen (15) days, buyer is allowed merchanise exchange only. DCD Security reserves the right to refuse any merchandise back for credit.
  6. In order to obtain full credit refund, all items must be returned to DCD Security within two (2) weeks from the invoice date, in orginal condition. After two(2) weeks all returns are subject to a 25% minimum re-stocking fee or more. Please refer to the manufacturer's re-stocking fee policy. All Special orders are "Absolutely non-refundable and non-returnable".
  7. DCD Security reserves the right not to replace product until the replacement is returned from the Manufacturer/Vendor.
  8. All return merchandise must be returned back to our address within 7 days from the date of RMA, enclosed with a copy of the invoice and RMA number clearly marked on the mailing label.
  9. "No Fault Found" RMA items can be returned for credit with a 35% minimum re-stocking fee and shipped back at purchaser's expense.
  10. Any Material not received in re-salable condition will not be credited and will be returned to the customer at the purchaser's expense.
  11. Returned merchandise must include all original materials including but not limited to mounting brackets, screws, instructional manual, box sticker, product sticker, cable sticker, original box packaging, and miscellaeous accessories.
  12. Cross-shipment is allowed for pre-paid. We will ship the return item back after repair. No credit will be applied for any cross-shipment package and repaired items. RMA items will be repaired or replaced at DCD Security's discretion.
  13. Warranty Repair: Details of all return parts and components must be written clearly in the RMA Request Form. We only return repaired parts and components of whatever we received.

Limitation of liability: DCD Security will not be responsible for consequential damage to the system or its components caused by either internal or external equipment, shorted connections or components not installed or obtained from DCD Security shall not be liable for damage to painted surfaces due to physical abuse, excessive use, liquids, chemicals spilled upon or inside the components including oxidation or corrosion to components caused by exposure to salt air.

The limited warranty also does not cover any losses or damages that may occur as result of:

  1. Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
  2. Misuse, neglect or improper environment.
  3. Any repair, modification, adjustment, or installation or options/parts by anyone other than a DCD Security authorized service center, excessive/inadequate electrical power surges or other irregularities.

Manufacturer's Warranties: DCD Security will assist dealers in the repair or return of products covered under the warranty upon request. DCD Security in no way claims responsibility for these products or their warranties.
